Shell boilerSolid fuel shell warm water boiler
- Shell boiler, three-pass design
- Flat grate for solid fuel combustion
- Reversal chamber and flue tube bundle
- Available as steam, hot water or warm water boiler
A warm water boiler heats water up to 110 °C for building heating, domestic hot water and processes with lower temperature requirements.
Warm water boilers produce and distribute warm water for building heating and process needs. Every boiler is designed and built to the required capacity, fuel type, operating parameters and the investor's requirements.

Capacity, pressure, temperature, materials, fuel, equipment and configuration are defined by the investor's technical requirements and the specific project.

Shell boilers with a large water content produce warm water from various solid fuels and biomass.
EN 12952
Water-tube boilers with a small water content are used where larger capacities, higher efficiency and more demanding regimes are needed.
The differences between solid fossil fuel boilers and biomass boilers lie mainly in the grate design, the distribution of primary and secondary combustion air, the arrangement of combustion zones and the fuel feeding systems. Because biomass differs in composition, moisture content and combustion behaviour, the furnace and the combustion process are designed around the chosen fuel.

Shell boilers are the most common choice for warm water systems. Their large water content ensures stable operation and reliable warm water production for a wide range of applications.
EN 12952
Water-tube warm water versions are used less often, mainly for larger capacities or special project requirements.

Whatever the type and fuel, every TIPO Kotlogradnja boiler is delivered with the following equipment and design.
TIPO Kotlogradnja designs and manufactures boilers and complete boiler plants according to the investor's requirements, fuel type, capacity and operating regime. The process covers requirement analysis, solution proposal, offer, design, material procurement, manufacturing, erection, testing and commissioning. Whatever the complexity of the project or the market, the equipment is designed and built to European and international standards, including EN 12952, EN 12953, EN 13445, EN 13480, ASME BPVC and AD 2000, in line with the project documentation and the investor's requirements.
Residential buildings, hotels, schools, hospitals, sports centres, greenhouses and light industry — wherever warm water up to 110 °C is needed for heating or process use.
Natural gas, fuel oil, coal, wood biomass (chips, pellets, briquettes) and agricultural residues; the electric VAT-V-T version works without combustion.
Yes. A warm water boiler can serve as the heat source for indirect domestic hot water preparation, through a suitable heat exchanger or an indirectly heated accumulator tank, which we can supply as auxiliary equipment.
It depends on capacity and equipment; standard shell boilers are built in our own workshop in Belgrade and the lead time is set in the offer after the technical request.
Yes. Depending on the technical condition of the boiler, the existing boiler can be reconstructed and adapted for gas firing, which in some cases means replacing the burner and adapting the system. When reconstruction is not technically or economically justified, the heavy fuel oil boiler can be replaced with a new gas-fired warm water boiler, keeping part of the existing equipment and installations.
