PKT-P hydrogen steam boilers are based on the proven three-pass fire-tube design, adapted for hydrogen combustion: a different furnace geometry, a burner for hydrogen and blends, and a safety system for gas detection and venting. They produce dry saturated steam.
The boiler runs on green hydrogen from electrolysis, blue hydrogen and hydrogen-natural gas blends in various ratios, so the investor can move to hydrogen gradually as the fuel becomes available, without replacing the boiler.
The solution is intended for industries planning to decarbonize process steam, and for plants where hydrogen arises as a by-product of chemical processes.
